This cocobolo rosewood bowl is a one of a kind art piece turned by the famous artist Barry Biesanz.

Each woodturning is unique. Barry says, “I don’t look to impose a shape, but to uncover one that reflects and interacts with the natural fractal harmony.” This art holds its value for resale and can be found in art appraisal databases.

The darker wood in the photo is the heart of the log; the lighter color represents the outer portion, or sapwood.  However, cocobolo rosewood is an extremely dense and hard wood, in both heartwood and sapwood.

Each piece is signed by the artist.
