William Porras is a master craftsman! He designed these bracelets to use every scrap of precious wood. First he glues a rectangular ‘sandwich’ of woods using scraps from other products. Once that block of wood is dry, he then cuts out the round shape of the bracelet and sands it so that it feels good in the hand. A beautiful use of the wood. William started work at Biesanz Woodworks over 43 years ago.
Nothing is ever dyed to create color; the colors that you see in the bracelet are the natural colors of the wood. These bracelets can last a lifetime because they are not dyed or veneered.
