This hammer is made of highly polished cocobolo rosewood, and dense and beautiful wood.  Comes with a sound block used as a striking surface for the gavel.   Judges gavels are also used by the presiding officer of a meeting to call the meeting to order.  John Adams used one in 1789 to open the first session of the very first US Senate.

A great gift for law school graduation.  The block can be personalized with your graduating lawyer’s name or message – contact us for engraving prices.
